This year with funding from the RCUK Office in BJ, Xiamen Graduate School and the local Key State Laboratory it is has been made possible to bring you this year’s exciting and new 2010 Southampton-Xiamen Joint Summer School. This 10 day event will bring together experts from all over Europe and China to host a series of cutting edge lectures, workshops and cultural events for developing participants awareness of biofuel cells and other important areas of microenergy generation.
The 2010 summer school not only builds on the previously success of the 2009 Southampton-Xiamen Electrochemistry summer school but introduces the different theme of sustainable energy. In addition to drawing on key skills and experience form the long running Southampton Summer School, this event brings together the UK Biofuel Cells Consortium comprising 6 UK Universities. The opening ceremony is given by Prof Cass (Imperial College)
